Cookie Policy
&figs uses a small set of cookies so the notebook can sign you in and remember basic preferences.

What we use
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We also use local storage for the same kinds of jobs. We use them to operate the product, not to advertise.
Essential cookies
These are required for the service to work:
- Authentication cookies from our auth provider, so we know it is you after you sign in with email, Google, or a passkey.
- A short-lived flag during Google sign-in so the popup can finish and return you to the page you were on.
- Security and session cookies that keep a signed-in request tied to your account.
Preference storage (for example unit system or a sidebar state) may live in a cookie or in local storage on your device. It is not used to track you across other sites.
What we do not use
We do not set advertising cookies, sell cookie data, or run a third-party analytics pixel on the notebook. Payment pages on Stripe may set cookies under Stripe’s own policy when you check out or connect payouts.
How long they last
Session cookies expire when you close the browser or sign out. Persistent auth cookies last long enough to keep you signed in until you sign out or the session expires. The Google popup flag expires within minutes.
Your controls
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block essential cookies, sign-in and some features will fail. Browser instructions are in each vendor’s help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
